Here's a freebie
Some techie person needs to set up a rating standard for Wi-Fi. A scale of 1-5 or 1-10. If they understand what makes a service good, quick and it doesn't dump you every time someone else logs on, then they get a higher rating. Then they go around and have all hotels/motels/b&bs and AB&Bs subscribe to have their system rated. Then they can use that rating to advertise to travelers who need/want a good consistent signal. You'll make a fortune no maybe some of these places will upgrade!

McDonalds has good reliable WiFi. you can always take a coffee break and hit up their WiFi if your motel's signal is unreliable.
